One Safe Adult helps schools strengthen the relational practice beneath attendance, inclusion, safeguarding, behaviour and staff wellbeing.

We combine evidence-informed learning, practical staff tools and leadership implementation support, helping schools move from individual good intentions to more consistent whole-school practice.
The pressures schools face are connected.
WHY WE EXIST
Children may struggle to attend, access lessons, regulate their behaviour or seek help. At the same time, staff are managing increasing complexity, emotional pressure and responsibility.
One Safe Adult exists because supporting children and sustaining the adults around them cannot be treated as separate pieces of work.
Stronger relationships should improve the experience of school for children without making the role less sustainable for staff.

FOUNDED BY JODIE PETERS
Experience turned into practical whole-school support.
Jodie founded One Safe Adult after 20 years working with children, young people and the adults around them across education, residential care and as a manager in children’s services.

Her experience includes setting up and managing an alternative provision within a mainstream school, where she repeatedly saw stronger relationships improve engagement, attendance, safeguarding and attainment.
